Amistad NRA

We had planned to stay at Davis Mountain SP for another night but the forecast was for cold and 55-65 mile per hour winds. So we headed south and east through Alpine, Marathon, and Sanderson TX. We stopped at the Amistad reservoir which is formed by a dam on the Rio Grande Neal Del Rio TX.

We landed at the San Pedro campground which is just a large gravel area with picnic tables under shelters. Tomorrow we plan to drive to some locations with hiking trails that will take us near the water.

The AT&T internet was very good here.
