Green River to Gypsum
About 200 miles of driving through spectacular rocks cliffs and equally unspectacular dry scrub land. Highlights of the day were a stop at Walmart, a van wash, and views of rafters and fishermen on and in the Colorado River.
Our stop for the night was a 7 site pull-off just off I-70 in Gypsum CO. The Gypsum Eagle Campground has just gravel sites with a fire ring and picnic tables. There are pit toilets and 2 bars of 5G ATT. We paid $10 with our America the Beautiful pass. This would be a great place for someone wanting to fish the Eagle River.
