In Madison for Clay’s Graduation

Our grandson clay graduated from high school on June 13 so we made the trip to celebrate and visit with family.

It was a fabulous weekend with meals created by Steven and Sarah — pasties in honor of Clay who will be heading to Michigan Tech in the Upper Peninsula. Clay will be running cross country and studying engineering.

While in Madison we visited for an afternoon and evening with our friends Grant and Antje. It is wonderful how you can see old friends you haven’t seen in years and you slip into conversations as if it were yesterday when you were last together.

From Madison we headed to Steven and Sarah’s cabin in Mercer. There we relaxed, slapped mosquitoes, and enjoyed amazing meals made by Steven.
