Cedar Hill to south of Austin

Terrible driving day.  Heavy rain until just north of Austin, then it cleared up and became sunny.  We stopped in Kyle TX at their Walmart and planned to have dinner at a Casa Garcia.  However, the 15-minute walk was impossible when the pedestrian signals allowing us to cross over the frontage roads and I35 didn’t work.  So we turned back and had a reasonably nice dinner dinner at a Chinese restaurant on our side of the expressway.

We shopped at Walmart for perishables and spent a quiet night in their parking lot.
