Monahans Sandhills State Park

We spent the day here alternating between reading/ processing pictures and walking among the dunes.  David is enjoying the grasses and weeds in the sand.  There are lots of animal footprints — mostly birds but some four footed animals.  David found a hole in the sand with many prints leading to it.  Janet is interested in the piles of damp sand that have been pushed up from below.  No sign of an animal.  The piles look like the mud piles that crayfish make down near our creek at home.
