Walk along the Deschutes in Sunriver

Another great place to walk is the path along the Deschutes in the town of Sun River. The path is actually an 8-mile loop, but that was too much for us even with the kids in the stroller. On one side of the path is the river and on the other is an airfield for private planes. We saw three take off as we walked. I think a number of these homes are second homes and the owners fly in when they come to visit.
