The High Desert Museum

The High Desert Museum is just a few miles north of La Pine. Both Amanda and Bo’s caregiver, Noelle, visit there often with Bo and now Maya. It is a lovely museum for both adults and children. It is clear that Bo has been there many times before. He happily announced what we were to see as we entered each room. Outside the museum are many vintage buildings and workshops, as well as a number of animals. Bo managed to scoot under a fence to get an up-close look at the chickens and turkeys.

we enjoyed a tast,y lunch in the cafe — soup and grill cheese for me.
