Princeton

The US Women’s Olympic Rowing Training Center is located in Princeton. David and I said goodbye to Weemie and, missing the reunion breakfast on Sunday, drove to Princeton to visit with Amanda.  Really we were going to eat with her.

We had three great meals:  an Asian mix for lunch, Nomad pizza for dinner, and Thai for the final dinner.

On Sunday we watched rowing practice from the shore in Mercer Park while taking a nice walk.  On Monday Amanda had to participate in a golf outing that benefits the rowing team.  While she was there, we walked around Princeton (gorgeous) and ran some errands.

Amanda is lucky to live with a wonderful family in Princeton.  Her host mother Dana and “sister” Sophie have made her feel very much at home.
