Benham Falls

After a late breakfast and a short walk, we all headed home from Crane Prairie Reservoir.

Amanda, David, and I took a quick detour to Benham Falls – a slight falls, almost rapids, but lots of flow, on the Deschutes River.

We parked about 1/2 mile from the falls which gave us a pleasant walk along the River, before we heard and saw the very dramatic falls. The view was well worth the stop.

Upon returning home we had much needed showers and went out for dinner.
