Sutherland Trail
The weather was a cold as predicted today, but it was very sunny and there was little wind, so we headed out for a walk along the Sutherland Trail. We did not expect to complete the entire loop, but did about 5.5 miles out and back.
The views of Mount Lemon with a new coating of snow were outstanding. Along the trail were lots of cacti, mesquite, and grasses along with many wrens, finches, sparrows, and a few hawks.
The issue with Janet’s eye following treatment has resolved so we will be leaving Tucson tomorrow.
