Lewisville Lake Park Campground
Today we drove for a couple of hours to a lake just north of Dallas. The campground is pleasant enough and the price is right at $8.00 per night. It’s just a half-hour drive to the airport for our flight to Belize.
We spend the rest of the afternoon packing our bags and taking a nice walk along the lakeshore. While there are lots of people in the campground, the park is barely in use, except for one fisherman.
Review of Lewisville Lake Campground: In places the sites are reasonably well-spaced, but in others the rigs are lined up one after another. For $8.00 per night you get 30–Amp electric (50–amp is available) and water; laundry; hot showers; wifi; and quiet. Lots of residents seem to be here for a long stay, escaping the cold of WI and MN for the relative warmth of Northern Texas.
