Cave Trip
Amanda, Emily, Steven and Andrew with all the grandkids chose to drive up to near Belmopan for a cave-tubing adventure. They loved it as they spent time exploring the caves and swimming through them. The tour guide even included an opportunity to hold a tarantula! Lunch and water, coke, or rum punch were included.
Meanwhile David and Janet drove north to Dangria to get a few groceries and water. The town of Hopkins completely ran out of drinking water on the long Christmas weekend. On the way up we saw lots of Spoonbill Roseate Ibis in the marsh between Hopkins and the mainland.
By the end of the day we had more than we needed, as Steven had thought to pick some up also.
