Nevada to Utah
After a night on the side of NV140 we drove through what I will call the Neveada Badlands. There was one gas station/cafe a couple of rest stops and the. wendover CityNevada which appeared out of the desert. We stopped at the Smith;s grocery which was fully stocked and filled all our needs. Then as we drove back to the interstate we passed 5 enormous casinos with huge attached hotels. What a surprise with desert to the west of it and desert to the left of it.
We drove for what seemed like hours through the salt flats which were very wet. Before and after the salt flats were more and more Black Angus.
We reached a Flying J in Lake Point to the west of Salt Lake City to spend the night — 451 miles of driving.
