Oregon to Nevada

As much as we enjoyed our stay in LaPine and all the great meals Brian’s prepared for us, we reluctantly headed home.  our plan is to spend a week or so in Utah and then head back to Indiana.  Our trip ou/t of Oregon was fascinating.  We took the route south and east through an area alternately called the “Oregon badlands” or the “Oregon outback.”  Dry lands and mountain passes,  irrigated farmlands and many, many Black Angus.  Very few homes.  We spent the night on the side of NV-140.
