Deschutes National Forest – Day 2

Not much to report. Janet spent the day listening to books, and David worked on his computer – mostly using AI to create possible lampshade covers of flowers. . Occasionally we went for walks to stretch our legs.

The forest here is pine — ponderosa and lodgepole. There is only a little evidence of animals — squirrels, chipmunks, deer, and beaver. We were slightly surprised that the latter take down pines. The river is very clear and fast -flowing with no fish that we can see.
