Back in the USA

Yesterday we drove from New River beach to Palmyra ME. Our border crossing was very slow — over an hour. Turns out that someone from the agriculture inspection department was there really checking RVs. I never did find out what fruits and vegetables we were not allowed to bring back into the USA. However, we did lose one red pepper and a lemon. Oddly, both came from the USA originally.

After a night at a Walmart we continued on to Moose Brook SP near Gotham NH. It is still really hot in Indiana so we decided to spend a couple days where it is still cool — low 60s with a bit of drizzle. Hopefully it will be nicer tomorrow.

The campground has lovely sites tucked into the woods. Dry camping (no electric) but hot showers in the bath houses. No dump here, but one a short drive away in Gotham. We can dump there on the way out. ATT internet service is fast.
