Another Deschutes River Walk

We spent the morning hanging around our peaceful campsite, then Amanda and Bo came over in the afternoon for a walk and dinner.

We took the same trail as yesterday but in the opposite direction — heading north along the Deschutes. Once again we had stunning views across the river ending with the most spectacular at a bend in the river with sheer rock cliffs on one side. From the observation and picnic area we could see Mount Paulina where we had walked several days ago. After sitting for a bit, we turned back on the loop trail and headed for the North Loop campground.

Dinner was Chinese dumplings, sweet potato glass noodles, and a spinach salad. While we ate, Bo lay in his bassinet and watched the trees sway above him. He is such a good baby.
