Madison Area

We headed to the Madison Area to visit David’s cousin Kathleen, Steven and Sarah, and Emily.

At Kathleen’s we enjoyed good cooking, and were able to help with a few projects around the farm. Steven came out one night for dinner with his family since they were going to head Up North to their cottage for the weekend.

On Friday we drove into Madison to spend the weekend with Emily. We enjoyed a great Mexican meal as well as an Asian Fusion. Saturday we did a bit of shopping at Home Depot, buying a fan for David to install in her jewelry room. What should have been an easy installation took a lot of time because he had to crawl up in the attic to install some bracing. But the job got done and we also washed all her bedroom windows before Emily installed new curtains.

Her house is looking great.

We headed home Monday after Emily left for work. Lots of weeds in the flower gardens greeted us.
