Janet’s Wood-Fired Pizza

All pizzas start with 8 oz of dough made from Antimo Caputo “00” Pizzeria Flour. Most pizzas have shredded Mozzarella and/or Provolone cheese (M&P).  Some ingredients including meat are precooked.  Actual pizza ingredients may vary depending on availability, cook’s inspiration, and guest requests and could include roasted minced garlic, basil, oregano, black pepper, etc.

July 18 event:  15 guests.  We will plan for the first 8 below and can repeat those as needed.

1. Veggie pizza. Pesto, caramelized onion, M&P and some of these: Avocado, fresh tomatoes, arugula, mushrooms, black olives, capers.
2. Cheeseburger pizza. Hamburger bits, cheddar cheese, mustard, catchup, green onions, pickles.
3. Omelet pizza. Scrambled pre-warmed eggs, red bell peppers, shallots, M&P.
4. Peperoni pizza.  Peperoni, red bell peppers, raw onions, M&P.
5. Seafood pizza. Clams, scallops, red sauce, dill, M&P.
6. Turkey curry pizza. Roasted turkey bits, caramelized onion, curry, peas, M&P.
7. Mushroom pizza. Truffle oil, mushrooms, egg yolk in center to be spread out after cooking, M&P.
8. Dessert pizza. Goat cheese, caramelized onion, pear, small amount of M&P.

On request or for future events:

• Smoked oyster pizza. Can of smoked oysters with the oil, white sauce, M&P.
• Summer squash pizza. Zucchini, gruyere cheese, white sauce.
• Sausage pizza. Sausage, red peppers, green onions, red sauce, M&P.
• Artichoke pizza. Artichokes, red onion, thyme, white sauce, M&P.
• Eggplant pizza. Pre-cooked eggplant, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, M&P.
• Asparagus pizza. Chopped asparagus, mushrooms, M&P.
• Avocado pizza. White sauce, fresh sliced tomatoes, avocado, goat cheese.
• Tomato pizza. Sliced fresh tomatoes, white sauce, capers, M&P.
• Bagel pizza. White sauce, capers, everything bagel seasoning, goat cheese.
• Nut pizza. Chopped mixed nuts, sunflower seeds, pepitas, small amount of M&P.
