Haystack Reservoir
After restocking at Fred Meyer and Costco, we drove north through Redmond. Our destination was a dispersed campsite on a hill overlooking the Haystack Reservoir. Unfortunately the site was already occupied. We looked around nearby for another site, but the only one we found was not very level and full of trash. I don’t know why people can’t take their debris home with them or at least find a dumpster.
We settled on one of the campgrounds on the side of Haystack Reservoir. The sites are very private especially since only a few people are here.
We enjoyed a snack dinner with our Costco purchases and had an hour zoom with our family. Our antennas and cell booster have certainly given us amazing cell service on most of this trip. In fact about the only time the service was poor was when we were in the Owyhee River valley which had steep hills on either side.
