Wyatt and Clay split wood

David took down a huge oat tree, so we called on the boys to split it. Wyatt and Clay had offered to make a road trip down and split for two days. They are amazing workers. Hardly stopped to rest or eat. We now have about three cords of hardwood ready for the winter.

Each night befree dinner they headed out to the hot tub for a soak. While doing do, I was amused to hear them listening to the stock report for the day. Wyatt is serious about his interest in the financial markets. He is an intern for a bank on the weekends, and both he and Clay participate in DECA through their high school.
