Arriving and dining in Bend

We followed the Deschutes River south to Bend where our Daughter lives. She and Brian are marrying this coming weekend. We arrived early so that we could help with last minute shopping and planning.

On Wednesday evening Brian prepared an amazing dinner for us, Emily and Eric, and Brian’s parents, Georgia and Bruce. Great food and great company.

Thursday was more running around, then Andrew arrived in a motor home rental with Graham and Geleta. Page and Charlie arrived in our old van, Vanessa, that they had borrowed from Andrew in which to drive across the country. In the evening we went to Okawa Steakhouse for a delicious and fun hibachi diner. I don’t think I have ever had such sweet, tender scallops. Amanda and Brian are well known at this restaurant as it is in walking distance from their home so they often frequent it.
