Tuscaloosa AL to Covington LA

More driving, this time through beautiful pine hills. Hoped to get to Baton Rouge, but the snow had started there, so we pulled into Coventry LA — right at the north end of the causeway from New Orleans. Got propane and did some shopping. Walked to a lovely Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant—Northshore Empress. A Pho bowl and stir fry were a perfect dinner. Freezing rain and ice pellets started about 7:00. The interstate is closed to the west. We may be here for a while.
