Springdale UT

We decided to have a lazy day, spent reading, doing a bit of laundry, and picture editing.

We walked south into Springdale for a mid-afternoon dinner at a Chinese restaurant — The Bamboo. Excellent food, nicely served.

After walking back, David decided that since there were few people around in the late afternoon heat, he could safely fly his drone. We are just on the other side of the Virgin River from the park camping, so he was able to get nice views of the south end of the park, near the Watchman.

And then, we had a tremendous thunderstorm!
