Fresh rock
After a freezing night we had two loads of rock spread on our road to the old barn at about 2 inches deep. Then I used the blade on the tractor to smooth it out and move some to the middle so water drained off of it. The ground was frozen so the truck would not make ruts, but there was some problems with the rock forming solid blocks and getting stuck in the truck.
Before the rock was delivered, I dug a drainage ditch on the inside of the curve so heavy rains would not erode the drive.
