After a night of unsettled weather – thunder, lightening, tornadoes – and an amazing Packer win, we drove to Park Place Sprinter Service and spent the day while they replaced NO detectors, RPM detectors, and our blower fan. Most repairs were covered under warranty, but Mercedes Benz does not consider a cabin air fan failing after less than 70000 miles a warranty issue. Funny, my Honda CRV has 260,000 miles on it and its fan still works. In fact the repairs on that car, other than struts, brakes, oil, and spark plugs have numbered two — radiator leak at 235,000 and a cracked coil at about 160,000. Go Honda.

We left the service garage so late that we just made a quick run west to a Walmart in Weatherford TX.
