Crystal Hill Area – Day 3

It rained overnight, but was sunny when we got up.

First order of the day was to walk out about 1/3 mile toward the Livingston Hills and take some overhead pictures.

Then after a quick lunch, we decided we would walk around Crystal Hill. What David had promised was going to be an easy walk after the first saddle was a bit more challenging because of the loose rocks and shale.

During our walks today we did find a couple of quartz crystals and saw one black-tailed jack rabbit. With the warmer air and sun we are hearing lots of birds.
