Wisconsin

Today was just a quiet day of driving through MN toward Duluth, then down Route 53 into WI. We crossed the Mississippi River for the second time, so we are now on the east side – our side.

Stopped for the night at Lake Wissota State Park. Took a nice walk along the lake and enjoyed the “high prairie” area – beautiful flowers and grasses. Dinner, as seems usual, was grilled meat and vegetables served with a salad.

Lake Wissota State Park Review: 115 well-spaced, shaded sites near the shore of Lake Wissota. About half have electric; all have picnic tables and fire rings. Central water, RV dumps, and showers. Swimming beach and hiking trails. Very quiet and private.
